Places: Wynwood Arts District, Miami

San Francisco's Clarion Alley has nothing on Miami's Wynwood Walls in the city's Arts District. Seriously.

Imagine a whole city district packed with gigantic murals, a sprinkling of stenciled mantras on the sidewalk, cute little boutiques, art galleries, and restaurants spread throughout and you've got yourself Miami's most colorful neighborhood (as if this city couldn't get anymore vibrant). I could have easily spent a whole day there!

Visiting this area definitely confirmed the fact that I'll be making plans to visit Miami again. Apart from the glorious warm-water beaches, the city's art scene is totally inspiring and I would love to experience more of it. I think Art Basel Miami Beach is calling my name. See you there?

Unlike San Francisco, you definitely need to have a car to explore Miami. Especially if you want to see all of the murals on every building in the Arts District — unless you don't mind walking for miles under the hot Florida sun.
